Jin Pai Zi Char is one of the few stalls here at Alexandra Village that opens after 8pm.
Google reviews for this place is rather good.
The Fish Head curry here is rather good. Curry was thick and flavourful. Fish head was fresh and this place totally justified its high Google rating.
Stingray here is fresh and the sambal is damn shiok.
Generous serving of Sambal.
If it is true that good food does not need good presentation, it is evident here at Polar Beurre Cafe.
Had 2 scoops of ice cream, and both scoops were placed into a paper cup used for drinks.
But what they lack in presentation, they made up for it with their flavourful ice cream.
Especially this Blue Pea ice cream which was damn good.
Despite eating here so very often, this is the first time I had the white version.
And the white carrot cake here also very good. The egg were more eggy than crispy type.

Cafe Lilac started out as an online business selling taro tarts. Now it's a cafe selling plenty of taro desserts.
Both the Taro Tiramisu & Taro Cheesecake were good. Tiramisu was creamy. And the taro filling in both tasted rather good, like those orh nรฉe desserts from those Chinese restaurant.

Refreshing, especially for a hot day, which is starting to become more common recently.
The Lilac Lemonade is an interesting concotion by the cafe, the drink changes color from blue to Lilac Purple, after pouring the lemon juice into the butterfly blue Pea beverage.
Baan Kanom Thai recently opened here at ARC380. And already seems very popular with the weekday lunch crowd. And place gets filled rather quickly.
One of the best thing about their menu, is that u can add a side of creamy egg Omelette to any of your main menu dishes. Which I duly did.
The phad thai itself was flavourful & spicy, tasted good and with the creamy egg Omelette thrown on top, wow, tasted like a perfect combination.
Will return again for thier Pandan pancakes which are the most popular menu item here at Baan Kanom Thai.
Located at what seem like a coffee shop cum restaurant, located at the foot of a HDB block at 252 Jurong East St 24.
The carving Board serves up some damn excellent Western food.
1) Pork Steak - of of their signature dishes. The Pork Loin was tender and juicy. Not dry whatsoever.
2) Mushroom Rissotto - very creamy and with some truffle taste which surprised me as I was not expecting truffle whatsoever, and was not stated in the menu. A wonderful surprise indeed. This is one of my favourite risottos I ever had.

Zai Shun Curry Fish Head is Michelin Guide Restaurant for their curry fish head. I had their curry fish head for takeaway before, and it was nothing fantastic.
But what they are truly famous for, and what u can see being eaten at almost every table, is their HK style steamed fish.
Theres already a long queue forming way before lunch time, at around 11am. Once our turn was reached, we were brought to the side to choose the fish that we wanted to eat and what style we wanted to cook it in.
Their HK style sauce that we chosen was flawless, and as usual, the fish was damn fresh, with a tofu like texture that just breaks apart so easily.
This dish is a must have here at Zai Shun.
When I ordered this, I had no idea what I was in for. I saw it on the menu and I just ordered Coz it looked good.
The sauce was like a type of bean paste, with lots of park lard and spring onions. Tasted very old school, like something my parents will surely like.
The fishes used here are damn fresh for sure. It's like eating fish that has tofu texture. damn fresh.
