RedRing specialty, is their Chicken Cutlet Noodles.

Their Noodles were springy and el dente. The gravy though it was watery, was rather flavourful. Had the spicy version, was it was only a small kick.

The Chicken Cutlet definitely good. Crispy and tender.

Recently came back again for their Tiramisu, but decided to have some main dishes since it was 1for1 with the beyond deals. Sadly the crowd was dwindled. But their Tiramisu was still good nonetheless.

2) Salmon Ochazuke - The Chunk of Salmon was cooked well as it had a silky smooth texture. Paired with Brocoli and rice. Not filling though.

3) Squid Ink Pasta with prawns- nothing really special, prawns were fresh though.

DJ satay grill have since shifted to Margaret Drive Hawker Centre.

Chicken Satay was soft and tender and the meats were Chunkier in size then some other satays stalls I had before.

Recently opened at Margaret Market, a recently renovated place which used to house a wet market. It has now been classified as a heritage building. Used to passby this place in the late 90s as my secondary school was nearby. So this area will always house many memories for me, and this place has certainly changed alot.

1. Sambal LaLa - came around 7.30pm, they ran out of rice already. So ordered the ala carte dish without rice. The sambal was more like those chilli crab style chilli. It was spicy and flavourful and goes well with the LaLa.

2. Garlic Butter LaLa- The sauce was damn solid. Really good. Goes excellently well with the La La.

3. Authentic Clam Noodles with Chinese wine - (choice of rice/glass noodles or just soup), soup was flavourful. The only dish with staple left to order. Soup was good.

Creamier has always served great Ice Cream, with many outlets around Singapore, surely their ice cream must be damn good la.

They also sometimes have seasonal flavours such as Pulut Hitam(sweet black glutinous rice) & Putu Piring(Coconut steamed rice cake).

Pulut Hitam- tasted like a "Creamier" version of the traditional Black Glutinous rice dessert. Which is what a sweet tooth like mine need; Creamier versions of all my favourite traditional dessert. This is damn good.

Butterscotch Almond- Am a sucker for anything Butterscotch, and the one here is damn good, and have bits of Almond in it as well. Creamy and shiok.

Will return soon for the Putu Piring, wife keep pestering me that this must be tried before the season for this seasonal flavour is over.

My Favourite Nostalgic Western Food.

Taste just like it was back in the mid 2000s

Now also avaliable in thigh meats instead of the usual breast. Still taste as good. But I prefer the chicken breast to be honest. Well marinated as usual.

Cajun Fries are great as well, generous servings and every fry is marinated well & flavourful.

Top up a bit of $$$ to upgrade 1 of the sides to my favourite cheesy potatoes. Yums

Tenderloin Steak served in a coffee shop setting.

Steak was thick, yet tender and juicy. Cooked to the perfect medium to my liking.

Served with a fried potato ball, some baked beans and a small slice of tomato.

Take note: damn hard to get parking lots at the open air car park next to this coffee shop.

Affordable Peranakan Food Alert!

Peranakan Food have a reputation of being rather expensive. But not here at Charlie's

Located at Basement Floor of Golden Mile Hawker, Charlie's looks rather old school, with a hand written menu/signboard. The lady owner was very nice and friendly.

What we had

1) Bakwan Kepiting- damn good. Absolutely love this pork/crab meat balls.

2) Ayam Rendang- Chicken was fresh. The Rendang gravy was thick and flavourful.

3) Chap Chye- Normal dish, nothing really sepcial

They have many items on their menu, next time will try their Ayam Buah Keluak
