I don't really fancy tomato based pasta but this tomato cream was really good! Mix the garlic mayonnaise into and it's so full of flavor yet won't get tired of the taste. Spaghetti was al dente and the seafood were shiok!

West siders to the North-East! Pretty adventurous on Friday, since it's the Public Holidays - Election Day! Off to Double Scoops for some crispy waffles & ice cream that were claimed of not having stabilizers so that they do not melt easily. Also, they have some flavors that do not contain egg, safe for egg-allergy customers 😊 the earl grey smells & taste fragrant while the orh ni was an interesting flavor apart from the safe options we always order!

Waking up early on weekends are never my thing ever since I've started working (just want to sleeeep innnn!!!) but however this was worth the effort of waking up early to travel! This is just $8. Generous amount of lala given alongside with their al dente linguine. Do order their earl grey crème brûlée too!

It's Korean BBQ to celebrate Lann's birthday! Also our Secondary Sch Clique meet up 😊 Korean food for the Korean enthusiast! We all had 90mins of BBQ! As usual, the Koreans have their banchan plate out really nice & delicious (fish cakes & glass noodles!) also, love their spicy chicken/pork! They really go well with fried garlic alongside with red pepper paste & fresh lettuce. *burp*

During lunch hours, Wang Dae Bak is heavily packed! However their service are quick & attentive. We order Rice Cakes, Army Stew, Seafood Pancake, Spicy Tofu Seafood Stew, Pork Ribs Stew, Ginseng Chicken Soup & Spicy Beef Soup! This were food for 7 people! Their banchan (side dishes) are really delicious to start with, especially their fish cakes, egg, mashed potatoes! Refillable of course! πŸ˜‰ Not forgetting they've Febreeze at the counter for you to spray over your clothes due to the food smell.

I kind of like the coffee sauce they provided with the pancakes! Pancakes were served warm, fluffy yet little crispy at the circumference.

Searching for cheaper options of coffee other than your usual Coffee Bean, Starbucks? Drop by Coffee Break, 2nd Floor of Amoy Food Centre. It is run by a Brother & Sister duo and have appeared on news for the past few years. They've different range of coffees/teas such as Red Tea, Latte, Mocha etc. They serve traditional drinks as well. I kind of like their sea salt caramel latte & melon red tea 😊 Do give them a try as it is something new that you wouldn't find at hawker centres #hawkerpedia

One of the best bak chor mee around Tanjong Pagar. They are a father & son duo. The son who is a hunk πŸ˜‰ would be cooking till evening and the father will take over after. Many who patronize the stall would prefer the father's cooking. However I'm still unable to taste the difference, but this bowl of hot piping Teochew fishball noodles was so good! This time I ordered kway teow rather than my usual Mee Tai Mak. It was springy & smooth. Soup wasn't salty & the fish balls were Q! The queue for this stall during lunch is crazy! However it doesn't die down even during dinner! #hawkerpedia

Finally got to try milk & honey parfait! The froyo was velvety soft with milk flavor. Love the honey jello they provided. Overall it wasn't too sweet and my tumtum feels so satisfied.

3 of my favourites unite in this bowl! Udon, egg & butter. This bowl of kamatama udon is termed as dry udon. However with their special sauce, topped with onsen egg, butter & slippery udon - nothing too special to give the oomph, but it surely does fulfills one's love for eggs, butter & udon. All in one ;)
