By its first look, I thought there was only bean and rice wrapped with another “carb” skin. After the first bite, I was so wrong, sunny side up hidden inside with chorizo packed in every bite. It was enough for my breakfast and lunch! .

Great to hang out if you are the little town of Paihia.

Salted caramel and chai. Savory sweet which best suited my palate. Not hard to find and great place to eat. 😍

It was bigger than it looked. Fall off the bone tender and pretty sweet sauce. It wouldn’t say this is the best chips I had but considered as above average. Because the sauce was missing some depth and taste like out from the can. On a more serious note, they serious need to use better fries. .

Good place to chill. Not very fast WiFi. Their waffle was airy in the inside and crisp on the outside. Lemon curd base created the good balance with the sweetness. Whenever the palate got tired of the taste, a sip of black will always help. .

Roasted three platter, chicken soup with abalone and fish maw, sautéed fish fillet with broccoli, wasabi prawn, HK kai lan with sliced beef and ee-fu noodle with abalone sauce. .
Crazy good Cantonese food introduced by my dad. Hidden inside the AMK ITE. .
This must be one of the best roasted meat I had eaten in singapore. Char Siew has the ideal crisp surface. Right ratio of fattiness and lean meat in the pork belly. Finally their roasted duck, I could see its moisture on the cross section. .
Other stir fried dish had great amount of wok hei. Perfection could find on every dish. .
If you tried and find any dish which didn’t reach the Cantonese standard, please let me know! .

Industrial style theme. Quiet environment for a coffee and some book reading. The main was OK. I heard that their cookie and brownie were pretty good. .

Super famous in the local. Nine out of ten love the rustic and old school eatery. If you are the lucky One out of the ten, you might experienced bad service and unwanted crawling creature. .
Their stir fried sotong (P180), clam soup (P230) and BBQ tuna belly (P300) were good. .
Belly melted in the mouth with the savory sweet sauce just made me led me eating more. .
Sotong was great. Wok hei, crispy and mouth watering seasoning were unstoppable. .
The clams were ok but their soup was great. Gave some comfort to the soul 😇. .
Conclusion: Visit them around 630pm. Order takeaway for their BBQ Seafood back to hotel for a happy meal. .

1/4kg original lechon (P240) .
The meat was soooo tender. Easily break off by fork and spoon. Their seasoning of spring onion and in house marination dig deep into every fiber of the flesh. Sadly, the skin was as crispy as expected. .
Stir Fried Squid (P200) .
This is out of the world gooooood. Just by the sauce itself, I could finish two bowls of rice. Filled with wok hei and the tender squid was just OMG! .
Crispy Kangkong leaves (P180) .
Crispy like chips and side with garlic mayo. Good for chit chat snack or go with rice.

There is a best time to visit this restaurant. Around 11am before the crowd swamped the entire place. .

If you had saw the stall, you would never know that they would serve such good chicken. .
The brush of their secret banana ketchup sipped into the smoky chicken. Savory on the outside and tender in the inside. Great stall for takeaway and try to avoid the lunch and dinner crowd. .
