East meets West. One can dim sum and another can pasta. Not feeling particularly famished, I went for one of their signature dishes which is the White pepper tiger prawns with french bread for dunking. Sweet firm flesh of prawns. However, I do find the white pepper sauce atad too salty. The bread was just too hard that it was impossible to sponge the sauce up.

For two big prawns and three small pieces of french baguette, $19.80++ is abit steep. The menu is quite extensive. Possible second visit soon.

Skin was abit crisp on one side whereas the other side was fatty. The oilyness was overwhelming. Even potatoes were glistening. I seldom eat duck confit with chilli sauce. Today was an exception as the chilli helped to mar the monotonous oily mouthfeel.

I still finished it as it was not exactly inexpensive and my tummy was rumbling. Positive note, it was a cozy place and maybe perhaps maybe, I go back to try something else.

Tze char dishes that were comforting and felt like I am eating at home.

Melty Ru lou (braised pork belly) with tang gui, burnt chilli chicken with a lingering heat, long beans in peanut sauce and sinful lard, oyster omelette, and a purple sweet potato porridge that was memorable. Explosive flavors which bears a delectable wokhei tone.

It was so good, we walloped every morsel and every grain. I will go back again for this table of plenty.

Many years on, I am still eating my greens, literally.

Today's greens came in the form of noodles. Spinach noodles to be exact. Love the que que aldente texture. Alittle earthy with a slight tinge of nuttyness. Flavorsome seasoning from the beef jus. Chilli with a nice mouthwatering heat. The brisket, on the other hand, was abit tough. So yeah, my "greens" is the star on my plate.

No need to travel all the way to Timbre for this spinach noodle. Taste is consistent with the stall in Timbre but prices are indeed higher.

It is sweet and flavorsome, so they say. No doubt, it bears a pronounced prawny tone. The vibrant orange hue is indeed eyecatching.

Prawns are fresh with that umaminess. Broth is addictive to the last drop.

Personally, $15 for this big bowl is alittle steep. One can also go for the normal bowl with smaller prawns. I recommend to try if you are around the area. Take note, the stall is open during lunch hours only.

Catered for those who requires fast, eat and go, and I do mean fast (perhaps within an hour).

Black pepper orecchiette prawn pasta as main and summer fig arugula salad for starter. A burst of sweet, salty, spicy and tangy flavors dancing concurrently on my palate at one go. Why? This is Power Lunch. No waiting for one to finish the salad. The main arrives 5 mins later. So yeah, you get both hot and cold. Would you eat the cold salad first or gorge the hot pasta before it turns cold?

Yay to express. The bill came (and I did not ask for it yet) after plates were cleared. To be honest, the food was yummy but on the other hand, I felt rushed (finished the meal in 25 mins). And I craved for a cup of mojo after and probably chill till the rain stops. I spoke to one of the staff who said they assumed I was in a hurry in which I was not. I somehow felt the need to speed out of there.

This is a great power lunch who truly needs to eat and run. My advice is if you have the time, go for the alacarte to savor and appreciate the delicious food.
