One needs knife skills to cut the soft wobbly beancurd. Steamed and flanked by a slighty thick superior stock. Garnished with chunks of honey pork, conpoy and capsicum. This is actually one of my favorite. My friend did like it as well. Only comment was to do away with the capsicum as the strong flavor kind of overpowered the natural umaminess of the beancurd.

It occupies the outdoor space just infront of Open Farm Community. Huge tents, comfy sofas, psychedelic stools, wooden tables. ◽◾
The menu is almost the same as the other outlets. Here you will find power breakfasts, jams infused with turneric roots, rojak flower, lattes with various flavors infused... think the likes of turmeric, bluepea and beetroot. All these packed with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties.

The word to use is "glamping" which to me means camping glamorously. You know what I mean when you check it out yourself.

I am trying this out of sheer inquisitiveness. Since most ate the beef burgers, I decided to have the chilli burger. Chicken patty with chicken rice chilli on top. Patty was flavorful. Chilli was no doubt packed with heat. Buns were perhaps on the softer side.

I did like the spiciness that had a slow linger. I only wished that the staff gloved up whilst assembling the burger... this is just my preference.

Rich beefy broth. Oxtail with meat that falls off the bone and literally melts in the mouth. A very thin crispy sheet of pastry for dunking into the broth. Chilli padi by the side for the heat that warms the body.

Observing how uncle prepared the noodles, he covered the huge wok with a wooden cover and allowed the noodles steep slowly in the broth for about 5 to 10 minutes. Having this simple bowl of meesiam was almost like I was on cloud nine.

Tremendously light. Broth was slightly thick but not cloying. It had a tantalising sourish tangyness zing that did the trick of perking up my palate. Before I knew it, I managed to finish the whole bowl.

I decided to go for the lesser known, under the radar one.

Elderly uncle used a very tiny spatula to fry the noodles. I wonder if this made a difference in taste. Requested for slightly more black sauce for an extra savory kick. It was not too oily. A good amount of fried egg with a slight crunch from the beansprouts and chinese sausage. Instead of the usual thin strips of fishcake one find in most char kway teow, this had thick chunky ones with a good squishy bite.

Rich, creamy broth. Peppery finish. The minced meat were smoked using wood chips, leaving a light hint of smokyness. A mix of peppery, salty as one would expect of a japanese broth and a somewhat faint woodyness. Minced meat had a gentle nuttyness to it and I silently wished I could have more of it.

The green noodles, if compared to the normal ones, does not taste as sweet and smooth. Alittle bland. The chilli sauce added the seasonings for a slightly more bodied taste.

It is healthy. One just needs to be more accustomed to an eggless version.
