Tofu Magician from Paya Lebar Square!
They specialise in soybean related product! The most famous one is the Signature Soy Milk Tea with White Jade (which is chewy mochi balls).
We went at the perfect right time on a friday night. There was no queue and there were 2 available seats for us to enjoy the “dine in” experience (note: they only have 2 dine-in seats, and the “seats are right beside the waiting queue so it is a v awkward area haha)! They pack their drinks differently whether it is for dine in or takeaway. For dine in, there will be soybean powder dusted on top of the mochi balls as well. For takeaway, the mochiballs will be packed separately, there will still be some soybean powder dusted on the top of the drink, but you wont get the soybean powder on the mochi balls.
It is recommended to eat the mochi balls first with the soybean powder and creamy foamy soya milk foam layer. First impression, the mochi balls were kinda way too sticky/tough. I had difficulty getting the mochi balls off the stick to eat haha. Not the soft chewy kind that one will expect. The mochi ball itself is pretty tasteless. For the soymilk drink, there is a choice of hot or cold. But when ordering I was not asked which I will like, and the typical choice given was cold, which I quite enjoyed! There is also no customisation of sugar level for their soymilk drink. The Soymilk drink was thirsty quenching and it also contained some aiyu jelly like pudding in it, which I love!
I waited for 4 months before I finally came to try this! (was waiting for promotion / good deals, and the opportunity finally came with Chope Voucher Sales during Chope’s Birthday! Got 2 cups at the price for $6.90 instead of 1 for $6.20. Although there was an even better deal on Chope for like $1 or $2 for one cup or something, but i was a tiny second late in carting out the order and order wasnt successful sads) Whether I will buy it again at normal price, at $6.20 per cup, I think maybe no. Only if there are good promotions again :)

Besides gelato, @cotta.sg also serves drinks! I tried the orange osmanthus cloud ($8) which was served with a blowtorch to caramelise the orange! Super love the creamy cloud with the sweet orange osmanthus drink. Best way to end off the night!
They are open till 10.30pm, best for after dinner desserts if you are in tanjong pagar area! Do check them out!

New Gelato Shop in Singapore - Cotta at 104A Tanjong Pagar Road (located on the second floor)!
They specialise in gelato, and even have tarts that are made of gelato!! Their gelato flavours are also super interesting! I tried their violet & berries and muscat grape sake gelato flavours, both were so intense and good! The violet and berries was both fruity and floral at the same time, you get best of both worlds! Was also very intrigued to see the muscat grape sake flavours as you cant find this typically elsewhere! Paired the gelatos with the waffles ($7) which was crispy on the outside and airy fluffy light in the middle, goes well with the caramel sauce drizzled over the waffle too!
Other gelato flavours include Sicilian Pistachio, house matcha blend and cookies, gorgonzola with candied pecans! The gelators are priced at $5 for single scoop, $9 for double scoop (additional $1 for premium flavours).

⭐️ thai fried chicken wings ($9.80): 4 fried chicken wings given. Reminds me of old chang kee chicken wings with the strong white peppery taste. But batter was too thick for me and the chicken meat was slightly too bloody abit scary haha but meat is well cooked

My favourite eatigo place is lotus thai at paya lebar square! Back again for the 3rd time using eatigo! They have up to 50% discounts for specified timing!
⭐️ vermicilli with prawns ($18): my favourite dish to order at thai places but rarely order because of the high price. This was so good. So simple but yet so good. I totally love the wok hey claypot taste with the aromatic black pepper sauce for the vermicilli! 6 fresh prawns given too!
(Beaides eatigo, this restaurant is also on fuzzie app where you can get 1 for 1 for the mains! If you are new to fuzzie and will like to sign up for an account, use this code to get a free $5credit: tan5634)
