A pretty looking citrus dessert! Fresh lemon curd entrusted in lemon chocolate crust... Laced with poprocks, meringue and lemon sorbet. Refreshing and appetizing 🍋

Nope, the pork is not from Mongolia and neither is the sauce. Unlike the typical sweet and sour sauce (which they also have!), the mongolian sauce offers less tangy and more peppery kick to the dish. Something worth to try besides their overrated butter chicken and the ever-popular salted egg fried calamari!

Perhaps the last Singaporean to actually try this for the first time; so lucky to still find them open during the evening! Noodles carries a good bite and were rather springy, while the sauce carried a nice hint of savoury flavours and was really shiok when tossed in the moderately spicy Sambal that comes as an option. The sides were a smart option; going for a slight Japanese feel, it comes with a molten egg with slurpy yolk and sous vide charsiew that was tender and soft as well as a deep-fried potato-wrapped prawn for some crunchiness. Servings of wanton is also generous, given the fresh full-sized prawn that is wrapped within. It's not going to be very mind-blowing, but this is still highly recommended; it's the effort placed in this bowl of noodles by the Gen-Y hawkers with the emphasis on quality that makes this so different from the usual.

Good value for money Japanese curry rice. Their chicken serving is HUMONGOUS. Curry is not spicy at all. If it is, I will no longer need to go to Monster Curry. Strongly recommend this stall at the food court inside Wisma Astria.

I took this picture after I "destroyed" the original appearance of the dish :( It came in an excessively neat look: all the hor fun were clumped and packed into an omelette shape which was burnt on every edge, while prawns are on the side with the veggies. It might look unpromising at first (how could she cook a lump of hor fun like that…), but man, the aunty knows her stuff very well. I enjoyed eating the burnt horfun mixed with the unburnt one. The gravy was not the normal thick sticky gravy that we normally get in a normal zi car stall; this gravy is more like normal soup that you can drink without torturing your throat. I also asked the aunty to give me extra belachan on the side and surprisingly it went very well with the gravy, giving a tinge of sourness and spiciness. Will definitely come back here in a few days time!

Chef Taka (formerly of Hashi Japanese restaurant) has really brought his own restaurant up to and above his former restaurant. This dish is a fine example of one of the many good dishes he has. Very smooth and creamy uni combined with bits of cucumber and sushi rice make this dish very delicious. Posted by Ah Leong San 2015 September 8.

This lunch set is a must to try if you like chirashi don. You can have best of three mini don but it's very filling and tasty. Posted by Ah Leong San 2015 September 17

This gets an 8⃣ because of presentation, taste and perfectly done crab! Quite a huge serving and if only the sauce was more spicy, less sweet it'll be 100 marks for me 😉

Pv cupcakes bought the other day! But i gonna use this photo to wish @jaycwq a very happy birthday! Happy birthday to you and study hard for your exams :) all the best for ur future and have an awesome birthday celebration today! Ps ah! The cupcakes are like virtual hahahaha 😁😂😁

The name says it all: La Nonna translates to "the grandmother". Set in a cozy space, this restaurant is unpretentious and serves up hearty Italian fare. Their signature, the La Nonna pizza, stands out for all the right reasons. Black truffle, asparagus and an egg sit atop a delightfully thin crust. You won't stop swooning over how good this is.

Ok, before you judge the deformed poached egg, the focus is on the lovely red spread on the toast! Baker & Cook sells some spreads, and I really like the smoked pepper one. It's smoky, savoury and tangy. I like eating it on toast with an egg with an oozy yolk 😋 There are samples provided at the counter for you to try.

The Lemon Tart, Carrot Cake, Almond Chocolate Croissant and the great company! ♡ #superlatergram
