The abundance of peanut butter on the cake was so sinful but one needs to pamper themselves once in a while. The peanut butter taste in my opinion was acceptable and not too overwhelming! πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹

$4 prawn mee that came with 3 pork ribs and 2 large slices of prawns. The noodles' texture was amazingly good and chewy. The chili was up to standard and does not disappoint. Furthermore, it's prawn broth/soup was freaking delicious that I even proceeded to finish my colleague's portion!

Salted caramel ice cream having bacon bits mixed within it. The ice cream was delightful but having it with bacon wasn't a plus point to me and after having many bacon dishes... The brownie was really sweet and good but my tastebuds were clearly overworked at this point such that I just want something plain. A place for all bacon lovers indeed!

Bacon strips dipped in white and dark chocolate. Personally preferred the white choco version as the flavor bursts were more prominent. The sugar and salt were an interesting taste but this caters to people differently. For me I found it to be the two extremes of the spectrum of the taste buds such that it was a little overwhelming. A good dish to try out with family and frens. Nevertheless it was wonderfully done!

The night was started with some bacon jam which tasted similar to the Char siew in the those buns but a much better one! It was a good appetizer for me as it helped to open up my appetite for what is to come! πŸ˜‹

The best dish of the night. Eggs with sun dried tomatoes wrapped in bacon strips. The flavors which exploded in my mouth were so good, the sweetness from the tomatoes, saltiness from the bacon, and finally the runny egg yolk. The rosti was crispy and crunchy and wasn't too oily. This dish really went out of my expectationsπŸ‘

Served on a ever so shiny metal wok, was a slightly over carbonara cooked pasta. Despite that, the eggs and cheese were well blended into the spaghetti, when eaten with the bacon chunks, the taste was still pretty striking! However, the taste tends to get too strong after a while, resulting the need to pause after a few mouthfuls and drink some honey lemon to reset the taste in my mouth! The pasta wasn't creamy and still managed to have a good cheesy taste!

Pork and beef mashed with cheese wrapped in bacon strips coated with an excellent sweet BBQ sauce served with mashed potatoes. The bacon strips were really good and went real well with the sauce. When eaten in chunks a long with the meat wrapped in within, the taste was still balanced, however without the bacon strips, the meat mash inside was a bit too overwhelming to consume. The mashed potatoes were above average and nothing out of the norm.

Having tried the 3 fish soup stalls in the clementi market, I have found this to be my personal favorite. The fish slices were amazingly fresh and crazily tender. $4 was really a good deal with more than 6 large slices of fish! The amount of tik poh added was just nice unlike the other stall which just had too much of it. The soup had a Shiok clean taste to it. Together with dipping the fish slices into their homemade chili sauce with ginger, I just simply mind blown. I just had to make sure that the bowl was really clean when I left the place πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹

($10.70) The main aspect of this Don was the teriyaki chicken which felt really good as compared to the normal teriyaki chicken that we normally have. There was no sauce and the teriyaki flavor was imbued into the chicken itself. Particularly liked the chicken skin too, however the onsen egg was just fanciful and wasn't really having much flavor other then being a normal egg to the Don, corn was pretty average too. Looking at their manpower at lunch time I would say that it is best to only go there where the crowd isn't that huge.

This bowl of noodles was found in a stall in a really old school coffeeshop, and we waited like for 20 minutes before ours came. This stall owner sells beef kuay Teow, Hakka Yong tau foo and the bee hoon soup. The Yong tau foo uses a special kind of noodle that resembles in between Mee Pok and Mee Kia, and it was pretty delicious! Okay back to the bee hoon soup, the handmade beef balls were fresh and full of flavor. The taste for the soup was light but might be too light for others. They also have two different chilis and the beef version was really good! They are usually sold out by 1pm though they are to be open till 5pm!

Located in the basement of the berseh food centre, sells really affordable beef kway Teow from $3.50. It comes with large chunks of beef, of at least 3 different parts (not a beef expert here). The beef parts were chewy and the soup had a light and smooth taste to it. Perfect comfort food for me when I can't eat those really spicy stuff for now. Did I mention their chili is pretty much customizable? With different condiments found at the stall front you can increase the kick of the chili to your own needs!
