Soufflé x soufflé pancake
Beautiful decor and tasty cakes
Dimsum is NEVER complete without liu sha bao and egg tart. But the LSB here is purely custard, it doesn't contain salted egg. Meh 😢 but the good thing about Wah lok is that for things like paos and egg tarts, you can order in quantities. For eg, if you only have 2 person, you can just order 2 LSB instead of the usual 3. Same goes for egg tarts! Save money and save calories! The fried durian ice cream as well as the bean curd was super good as well 😍😍😍
Dimsum has gotta be one of my fave food on earth. I have it like once per week (at least). And I love the dimsums here 👍👌 (p/s call to make a reservation at least one day in advance!)
Had my first ABC at Vivo and it was so good but this time it was a disappointment. The tart seems to have been on display for a couple of days (still ordered it cause I was craving fruit tarts) and it was wet and stale. The rest of the pastries were just okay (the croissants wasn't puffy and flaky at all and not buttery enough for me 😢😢) and definitely TBB would be a whole lot better.
Must try dishes: Marmite Chicken, Butter Pork Ribs, Chilli Crab with fried Mantous
Another one from the #tlpnightmarket. Super good to counter the sweltering heat! $3.5/stick!
Banana bread, carrot cake with coffee frosting and cupcakes from hipster pop up markets by talented home bakers. They are usually priced from $2-$5
One of the best around!
