Bengawan Solo (Hougang Mall)

(Regular - $31.80) my mum proposed me to buy before the day for cny eve. Because most of the shops closed during cny eve, day 1 to 3. I remembered that they used to buy cake for birthday in the past. The taste and quality for pandan kaya cake remained the same in the past. I hope that they still maintained to continue the standard for their cakes and kuek in the future.

(0.5 kg - $31.80) I thought that bengawan solo usually sell sliced cake for different cake in the past as I remembered so clearly but then they chose to sell it off in whole cake. But then I don't understand why they suddenly stopped to sell sliced cake currently. I kinda disappointed because I don't wanted to eat too much :") but the taste is always classic to me no matter what.

Yay. My favourite item here. I love how the cheese makes the dessert salty.

A variation of kueh lapis. There are just three layers and some cream. Not nice.

I have this thing about traditional kueh. 🙆 Like I can pass through a cake shop adoring their beautiful cakes, but not so much on wanting to eat em.

But with kueh, even when they look like plain squares, it's hard for me to resist one. Salivating. Right. Away.

☝ that up there was like thai durian sticky rice, but this one comes in bite-size! How was it? A.W.E.S.O.M.E. if you need a sugar boost [or just feels like treating your tastebuds] without the need to take a fancy photos, this is the way to go.
