They have a neat 'happy hour' menu until 6pm that includes sides for $4 and tea/coffee from $1. I tried the mac n cheese, fried platter, and iced teh o - all of them were not bad and worth the price, especially if you're just whiling the time away. For mains, we got the 200g Chargrilled NZ Silver Fern Striploin ($28) and the Pork Collar ($21.50). Pork collar was tender and came in a substantial portion, while the steak was decent. We had olive rice, brussel sprouts, brocolli, and mashed potatoes for sides - out of these, the mashed potatoes were our favourite.
Overall, service was friendly and polite, ambience was also nice as the outdoor area was still cooling.
Standard dropped. My fav side is the spinach and sesame dressing, but I wanted to try other sides. Onion rings and olive rice are normal. The standard isn't very consistent as sometimes the dill sauce is okay while other times it's really goopy.
Decent plate of steak with interesting sides to choose from. Steak was slightly seasoned and went well with the extra mushroom sauce drizzled on the top. Cream broccoli was pretty average, but parmesan asparagus was good! It was of the right crunchiness and the parmesan bits on top went really well with the milder tasting asparagus.
It used to be good. My ribeye was served cold, Brussels sprout was so undercook itβs almost raw.
WOW. Serving was amazing the beef was sooooo thick and big but then of course its 350g HAHHA but werf!!!! Texture is slightly more similar to chicken breast and less fatty compared to the ribeye

Verdict: nuubbbaaad
Tried the NZ ribeye (200g) with mac and cheese & onion ring sides
Tbh, the ribeye was alot fattier than I expected and preferred but I guess the fats gave it flavour. Mac and cheese was nice!!!! And generous serving while onion rings are just onion rings
Rating: 7/10
Verdict: for affordable steak this place does its job!
