On a rainy cool night, a bowl of steaming hot sweet potato porridge and a few heart warming “home-y” dishes, makes an unforgettable meal of comfort food. This particular dish, dark soy sauce braised pork never fails. Try the fried omelette (chye po) and morning glory with fermented beans as well.

Experimental concept food, every dish made with quantum water. The food is easy on salt, gives the food a simple, healthy feel. Not surprising that most patrons are fit looking ladies without an inch of excess fat.

Just chance upon this outlet while scouring for some comfort food on a day that I am not 100%.

Took the porridge (sweet potato congee) plus a few dishes (taiwan sausage patties, beef ribs pieces with ginger and a cucumber appetizer) do the job. All dishes are $5 (appetizers) the mains are $10 or $15. A well portioned meal, looks small but just sufficiently filling without getting sick. I am definitely coming back.
