I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food๐ฏ doesnโt lose out to popular izakayas in the cbd!๐ They use specially formulated in-house โtareโ teriyaki sauce charcoal-grilled over Japanese binchotan which you can try through their curated platters eg Buta platter ๐ท ($15.50) my favorite is the enoki and crunchy asparagus pork-wrapped โจ

The smoked duck soba ($15) is served cold and refreshing for the weather โจ topped up some sides like tempura kani ๐ฆ which is soft and crisp at the same time! eat it whole ๐ top it off with Fresh kirin beer ๐บ๐

truly a perfect spot to chill and relax away from the hustle and bustle while watching ppl fire some balls off into the horizon ๐โ๏ธ
A convenient spot directly beside Punggol Golf Range, Tend Bistro is an izakaya with both indoor and alfresco areas, attracting a crowd mainly comprising of golf enthusiasts. We tried the yaki udon ($12) with chicken, mushrooms and leek. Wished this had more flavour though

If youโre a fan of unagi with sweet tare, you can try the unagi kabayaki ($28). With the succulent meat and good portion, this is definitely more value-for-money than the unagi don!

A recommended item, this dish is crispy though also a tad too oily for our liking ๐ซ

Our highlight from the previous visit, we got the same pork skewer platter consisting of pork belly wrapped around enoki mushroom, cherry tomato, leek and asparagus ๐

We finished the meal with a ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป ($11) and a ๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ ($12), which left us feeling supremely satisfied.
