Made with their very own Sourdough fruit loaf, this dessert is almost synonymous to the place and represent the restaurant very well. Rustic, simple and unpretentious. Many of my peers have nothing but positive reviews and raves about their B&B Pudding. In all honesty, it is definitely one of the better ones in town.

However, I find mine a tad burnt therefore it left a slightly bitter/sour taste on my palate. It could be a one time off sorta thing, but don’t get me wrong the Pudding was sublime, even with that small mishap it still triumph over many other renditions.

A well executed Australian 150 day grain fed beef slow cooked for 16 hours then grilled and glazed with spiced prune sauce, petty that sauce is not distinct enough. The short-rib could use a pinch of salt and pepper for to reach its maximum potential in the flavour department.

Served with a smooth, rich and buttery potato purée, one will have to look for the late Chef of the century Joel Robuchon for a better rendition. The grilled broccolini retains the crunch and freshness in contrast to many places which tend to overcook it, was much appreciated.

Your standard brunch ingredients done Firebake style, which means an awesome homemade sourdough, fresh organic eggs, farm mushrooms, onions and everyone just needs some bacon in their life. Baked to perfection in which the yolk is still runny with crisp edges. Comforting and decent, however it’s a tad small in size. .

Nobody truly knows who first put eggs in a skillet and baked it, maybe it was Jesus. Egg is one of the ingredient that I’m obsessed about for reasons absolutely unknown to me.

Many has hailed it as the best Fried Chicken Karaage 唐揚げ in town. My partner and I ordered a value set with their tasty greens and rice to compliment the Large 20 pcs with 3 flavours karaage. Original salt, soy sauce (Shoyu) and Japanese Yuzu Pepper were our choice of flavours.

Simplicity is key, thus the salt flavoured one was our favourite, followed by soy sauce and lastly Yuzu pepper. Their ‘flavours’ simply just came with a dipping sauce, I was a little disappointed but their Karaage was indeed the best in town.
