First time trying crab roe noodles, not bad, the noodles were quite al dente, the sauce and sides complement well together too.

Chicken feet is the must-order, it was so soft that the bones detached easily.

The har-gow was filled with plump prawns, so satisfying!

The chee cheong fan was quite special, tempura prawns coated with rice flour skin, overall, not bad!

Was expecting thin soba but this thick soba was chewy and quite on point.

Maze soba is satisfying with that oozing egg yolk, and chilli did elevate the taste a little (not that spicy), the gyoza was served hot too, overall not bad lunch set.

The roast duck and lotus roots are the must-order, thumbs up! Lean duck meat with the Angelica herb sauce, not overpowering, how can one say no… lotus roots was crunchy, together with macadamia nuts, something light, which creates a balance for the meal…

First time trying pork floss deep fried kailan but not my kind of dish, cos not a fan of pork floss, felt it’s normal, can try…

Wheatgrass tofu was not bad, can order…

Value-for-money, decent, chewy udon, egg, tonkotsu and soup base are also quite on point.

Best part is that you can help yourselves to sides (free) like corn, crispy flakes, wakame etc

Value-for-money Italian cuisine, sea bass risotto was not bad, if only the risotto could be a bit more cooked and it will be perfect

Grilled chicken chop was decent too

Overall, not bad

Cosy bakery at neighbourhood area that serves quality sourdough and bakes, would revisit to try their other sourdough

Ham and cheese croissant wouldn’t fail, the quality ham that they use, savoury taste, going well with the cheese and elevates the sweetness of the croissant

The avocado sourdough too was not bad, unlike dry and hard sourdough, the sourdough was chewy, smoked salmon, cherry tomato and avocado all just come so good together

Lastly, the white to clear the palate, decent coffee

Be mindful of the crowd and also that their bakes sold out pretty fast

Shakshuka was not bad, tangy tomato goes really well with the oozing egg yolk and sourdough.

As for the fish & chips, usual stuff, normal, good for sharing.

Flat white was not bad too, nutty finish, and cute doggie latte art.

Overall, a cosy cafe to have brunch, chill and hang out with friend.

Touristy Song Fa BKT is actually not bad, peppery soup base, a little spicy but shiok

Nothing beats refillable soup, comfort food

Unassuming look but the bagels were yum😋

Bagels were chewy, not as hard as I thought, pretty nice, juicy chicken, fluffy eggs, both goes well with truffle spread, both were hits, no miss!

Only cons is that the humble shop can only accommodate few customers within the shop, and around 6 seats outdoor, be early or perhaps take away will be another alternative…
