My definite favorite to go salad place. I love how they would rather baked or roasted the vegetable then serving boring cold salad.

JAANās bread is homemade and served atop a bed of hot stone so that itās constantly kept warm at the table.
Accompanied by Devon butter thatās umami and decadent, with side of sea salt. I was more than overjoyed just eating the bread on its own. With a crusty shell and a pillow-centre, i am very pleased.

Omg! This is the best pretzel bread I ever had in Singapore, itās freshly made from scratch ever morning it had been around over 30 years and itās family recipe.
I was damn impressed with the crunchiness of the through that crispy, buttery, toasted crust studded with salt. Such soft and squishy bread that was served warmed up simply blew my mind when I first bite into it.
Iām in love with this place will definitely revisit!

The crackling buttermilk batter seasoning was immaculately spot on with deliciousness. The sous vide chicken thigh was moist and tender, with it juicy practically spilling out with each bite! It was served with shredded lettuce, garlic aioli, chipotle honey dressing on soft brioche bun. This was out of control, my sis devour it within 15 minutes, worth every calories!

Though initially I do not have high expectation cos tongue can sometimes be gamey and rubbery. But it completely blew my mind! This is so perfectly cured and brined for hours then shaved into thin sheets, the flavour and the tenderness was to die for! The richness of this succulent pile of meat is counterpointed by generous dollop of gribiche (hard boiled egg dressing) and a piquant tangy dijon mustard. Buttery house-baked brioche slices hug this divine concoction; the bread tender but not so airy that it sags beneath its beefy bounty. OMG! Everything was divine to greatness, I just died in Ox Tongueās Heaven.

Hua Bee Restaurant (78 Moh Guan Terrace) is known for a few things. That the 1995 local movie Mee Pok Man was filmed here and in recent years, a Japanese kushiyaki joint - Bincho operates out back in the evening after the mee pok stall is closed.

Hereās the bowl of mee kia (though I ordered mee pok, and the aunty got my order wrong) from Hua Bee. The noodles were a little sticky, clumped together I had to add the soup to separate them, vinegar indiscernible and the chilli didnāt pack much of heat (had to asked for extra). The noodle was really al dente and I love the slurp. The ingredients were generous in their bowl of soup, but nothing was particularly outstanding.
Me love for croissant is real, just look at the layers of glory brings me to satisfaction. š„° Itās light, flaky and buttery. Thanks to the Pastry Chef pays attention to lamination of dough process, Itās mind-blowing! And the precision applied when layering the butter evenly in thin sheets of dough. I savoured every bite and even the crumbs that fell onto the basket. Itās definitely worth my journey to the west!
