Red beet rice, pan seared chinese braised pork cheek, brown butter beans, baked curry cauliflower, maple miso purple sweet potatoes and greek salad. Sweet, salty, spicy, tender and crunchy textures. This was like a mini mardi gras in the mouth.

Springy noodles immersed in a slightly salty seasoning sauce. The char siew, surprisingly, is my least favorite and for once I could actually forgo the meat. Soup bears a strong peppery tone. And yes, who could resist the crispy smoky and sinful pork lard? There was a man who actually ordered just the noodles with lots of veges but no charsiew. Now I understood why.

Pale noodles and pale charsiew was testament to maintaining #oldschool flavors. I would not mind just having noodles with lots of veges. This is not wow or the best. Definitely for those who is an "old school" at heart.

Upon reaching, I was greeted by this huge grey wall painted with psychedelic colors. A sight for sore eyes.

It was a no brainer that we should order the CreatureS Crayfish hokkien mee. Looking colorful and vibrant. This was a wokheish huge bowl of umaminess. Drizzle a squeeze of fresh lime is the zesty acidity that tames the sweetness. A spoonful of homemade sambal belachan is the heat that creates the zing on the palate.

Always love the warm and cool vibes in @fortheloveofcreatures . But there was a tinge of sadness as I stared at the table by the window. Curious?? And of course, missing the contagious personality of @dennischongcreatures , the gentle smile of KK and the bubbly Aunty Susan. Their not being there was like the missing link to an enjoyable dining experience.

This seems to be slightly more tender with alittle fats at the edges. A smoky tone surrounds the meat. Springy noodles that were sploshed over with a sweet savory and tasty pale looking gravy. I can just eat this without the chilli. Very ordinary looking but the overall flavors were just tantalising.

Not overcooked. Has to have that prawn and pork flavors in the gravy. Strips of pork belly, abundant baby squids and should have sufficient prawns for that extra umami. Yes... a definite wokhei-ish mouthfeel. And for an absolute #foodgasm .... crispy, sinful and addictive pork lard!!! 鈻柂

It is hainanese curry rice. Not the typical spicy kind of curry. More sweet with a tad more taste of curry powder. My plate of not so plenty had all my fave. Pork belly, squid and cabbage. Drenched in all that gravy which to me was the icing on my plate. And I can just eat rice with gravy. Gorgeous and droolworthy mess!

Blue pea pasta, aglio olio style. Texturally aldente with a gentle nuttyness. A burst of a tad malaish heat from the sichuan garlic oil, saltyness of lapcheong and a somewhat mini explosion of a tinge of fishy tobiko. Crunchy prawns added a touch of umaminess. Whole dried chillis gave it abit more of a firecracking mouthfeel.

It does not have a distinct blue pea-ish color, more of a purplish grey. It is a pleasant twist of east meets west fusion.
