Standards here have slid over the years. The meat and the soup not as fragrant liao.
So good. $4 or $5 bowl of goodness with your choice of thick beehoon or kway teow. Ask for chili for a tangy kick - they will pour direct on to your noodles or you can request to put in the saucer. They keep the chili behind the counters now to avoid wastage.
Very nice vendors who have been here for decades! Other items on the menu - BCM, fishball noodles are worth the queue too!
Probably the only stall that is good with all the noodle dishes they serve. Their beef noodle and lor mee are worth trying!
Satisfied my craving for BCM before holiday trip. The vinegar was just nice, not too overwhelming and the soup has a nice meaty aroma to it thanks to the generous amount of Ba Chor and Fishball. I'm not sure if this was by mistake but there was a piece of beef brisket in it (they also serve Beef Noodles) and it was just so amazingly soft and fragrant. While queuing, I did see articles on their stall about the beef noodles, but I still chose BCM for my craving. Next time when I'm here I will want to try the Beef Noodles.
Swapped the usual Lor Mee mee for some thick bee hoon - placing the gravy in the centre spot light! Lots of colourful ingredients - niong hiong, fried wanton, braised egg, lor bak stirring in the chili, MORE GARLIC and vinegar = SHIOK!
Can't believe I haven't been here even though I have stayed around the vicinity for 15 years 😱 WHAT HAVE I BEEN MISSING OUT?!?
