Everything arrived hot and i was pleasantly surprised by the vanilla bean gelato with EVOO - a unique touch.

Enjoyed a great meal at Yeast Side. Everything served was fresh and piping hot!
Potato Sour Cream Pizza: Perfectly executed and super delicious.
Pandan Panna Cotta: Light, fragrant, and a great way to end the meal.
Service was good and the noise level was moderate—ideal for a casual catch-up. Definitely worth a visit at MyVillage!

This bowl is seriously addictive! It’s the kind of sides you keep reaching for without thinking. The cheese-stuffed otah had that spicy kick with gooey cheese inside, while the crispy potato slices and fried lotus root gave all the crunch and snap. The fried dory fish was flaky and light, a nice balance to the heavier bites.

Shiok, crunchy and perfect alongside my mala collagen soup. Every piece added a different texture, making the whole meal feel more fun and satisfying.

Loved how each piece had its own texture. Perfect pairing with mala and honestly, I’d order this again just for the crunch.

The braised duck was tender and flavourful, with that rich herbal depth you want in a good braise. Paired it with roast meat that had a nice char and savoury bite, plus some tau kwa to round things out.

The rice soaked up the sauce beautifully and the chilli packed a punch. The whole thing came together like a proper hawker comfort meal at home 》$13.80

Nestled in the heart of Serangoon Gardens, yeast side cafe is a family-friendly cafe that truly exceeded my expectations. We kicked off our meal with their specialty pizza, the Truffle Shroom, which turned out to be utterly addictive. The dough was chewy, and each bite was packed with a robust truffle flavor that truffle lovers will surely appreciate.
We also tried their spicy popcorn chicken, which was crispy on the outside yet tender inside, delivering just the right amount of spiciness without being overwhelming.
We left with our taste buds satisfied and a promise to return to explore more from their menu. Thank you for the great experience!

We had a delightful evening at Yeast Side (Serangoon Gardens), where every dish felt like it was made with genuine care and a touch of artistry. From Truffle Shrooms! Pizza to Spicy Popcorn Chicken.
To wrap up, we couldn’t resist dessert — both the Pandan Panna Cotta (silky and fragrant, paired with strawberry compote) and the Gelato + Evoo (a fascinating combo of vanilla gelato, sea salt, and extra virgin olive oil) were simply outstanding. If you have room, these are non-negotiable finales.

For spice seekers, the Spicy Popcorn Chicken is a must-try. The subtle Mala Szechuan heat doesn’t overwhelm at first but builds stealthily with each bite, leaving that signature tingle true Mala fans crave.

The Prawn Caesar Salad offers a refreshing twist on a classic, featuring an anchovy-based dressing that beautifully complements the crisp greens and prawns fried to golden near-perfection. A definite surprise!

The Truffle Shrooms! pizza stole the show — a perfect harmony of chewiness and softness, layered with Shimeji and Swiss brown mushrooms that give it real personality. It’s the kind of pizza that confidently declares, “I’m not your average slice.”

The Better Scoop offers a creative twist with their nian gao waffles. For an additional $0.80, I opted for the nian gao waffle paired with a single scoop of osmanthus oolong, finished with maple syrup and chocolate sauce. Each waffle comes with four squares of chewy, lightly sweet nian gao that contrast beautifully with the crisp waffle base. While there’s no option to sample flavours beforehand, I was pleased that the osmanthus oolong was not overly sweet, striking a nice balance with the distinct floral notes of osmanthus.
