Disappointing, especially given the brand. The chicken was clearly pre-cooked, therefore it's very dry. The kecap manis was trying desperately to hide that fact.
The two large pieces of fish were abnormally good. Crispy and fragrant. Not enough curry for me.
An okay bowl. Okay fish, okay soup. It comes with egg floss, no need to pay to add.
PRICE: $4.50
WAITING TIME: More than 5 min
REMARKS:
* Not very flavourful
* Fish doesn't taste very fresh, kinda rubbery and chewy
* Huge portion though
WILL WE ORDER THIS AGAIN? No...
The family beside me told me that I eat a lot for my body size when they saw this order π (not that i care.. haha jk). One thing I notice on some food centres is that they bathe everything in butter or in oil or seasoning that it makes it tiring to eat, not in this Foodfare near my place tho π my weekend breakfast default: Kaya set ($2.20) and siew mai ($1.70). Toast has a light spread of kaya and butter. Siew mai is generously stuffed. Totally worth the priiice. π
