The cabbage was cooked crisp with savoury flavour lifted by garlic and a touch of chillies. It had a tender bite that kept the freshness intact, giving the dish both aroma and depth. The seasoning was balanced, not too heavy, making it a dependable side that worked well with richer mains. Portion was generous for its price and easy to share 》$7.80

The flavours came bold and savoury with green chillies adding fragrance. The pork was tender with a mix of belly slices that gave richness and lean cuts that balanced it with lighter texture. Portion was generous for its price, hearty enough to share and easy to pair with rice 》$11.80

($6) its quite salty but at least taste decent.
For 2 decades or more, this pakcik often sells out after lunch.
.
He fries each order individually, so there's usually a queue waiting patiently.
.
The soft chewy yellow noodles carry a smoky savoury salty spice flavour, contrasted by crisp bean sprouts and juicy cucumbers, both lending a vegetal sweet flavour. Bits of wispy whisked chicken egg lend a slight eggy sweet savoury note.
.
You can opt to add several ingredients, which most do - from springy fish cake, tender boiled potatoes, soft overeasy chicken egg, to crispy battered chicken cutlet.

($5) under nam kee pau. the serving size was quite mild but the soup broth was quite a bit salty.
($8.90) I know they are famous for their spicy or cheese sauce to complement with their western dish. But i just ordered basic one and taste not that bad tbh (like decent style and standard). Their side such as corn and curly fries was quite different frm what i usually get from western food.
($6.90) got a lot of ingredients (from chicken; pasta; potato; corn; edamame beans; grape; egg) with sesame sauce. pepper chicken really nice but a bit hard texture. I almost could not eat salad finish.
The chicken was tender and smooth with a nice bite to the meat. The rice portion was generous (more than I’d usually finish) and the chilli was so good it kept me going, pairing perfectly with both the chicken and the rice. With the clear soup and fresh garnishes on the side, the set felt complete and satisfying 》$10 / 2 Pax Portion

Fish Soup Beehoon at Veggie 121 🍜
I love the thick broth and veggie fishes. The warm, spicy tingling feeling left by the ginger on my taste buds rejuvenates me 🔋
Economical and as usual efficient service 🥳
Conveniently located near Telok Ayer Mrt (DT18) within just 5 minutes of walk.
Highly recommended for vegetarians and tourists looking for local Singaporean cuisine that does not break the bank 👍
The cabbage & pork dumplings were plump and juicy with the cabbage giving a light sweetness that balanced the savoury pork. The bean sprouts added crunch and freshness, lifting the dish.
The viral mixed sauce looked fiery but leaned more nutty than spicy with chilli oil layered over peanut and sesame notes. It was tasty at first but after a while I found it a little too cloying to finish on my own, maybe because I’m not much of a peanut person. Definitely better enjoyed when shared so the bold and nutty flavours don’t overwhelm 》$7.80 / 10 Pcs
📍 Yuen Kee Dumpling 袁记云饺
Tender pork slices stir‑fried with ginger and scallion, served with rice and a sunny side up. The pork was nicely tender but the portion leaned on the smaller side, though the egg helped round it out. I still wished there had been a touch more pork to balance the meal 》$6

($7.90) I felt that the broth was quite milky tbh but the spring onion got strong smell (I detest it off). But chasu texture was quite thin and got a lot of fat inside which I don't like it at all.
