The tom yum soup was rich, spicy and packed with prawns, squid and mushrooms. The Thai basil pork had that fragrant kick and wok‑fried depth that makes it feel truly Thai.

Cooled everything down with a Thai Milk Tea for the perfect finish. Loved the flavours overall, pretty authentic and comforting.

The herbal duck broth is rich and soothing with a deep, slightly sweet flavour that clings to the noodles. Duck slices are tender, radish adds mellow sweetness and the pork lard + crispy garlic bits give it that extra oomph. The kang kong and beansprouts keep things fresh and crunchy.

The noodles and broth are packed separately, so nothing turns soggy. You get springy noodles that soak up the broth just right when you’re ready to eat. The fried single bone mid joint wings are a must order. It’s crispy, juicy and super satisfying.

It’s a home-based business, so you’ll need to preorder in advance. Everything’s packed well and tastes like something you’d get in Bangkok.

Fragrant, punchy basil pork stir-fry laid over savoury egg. What really ties it together is that savoury egg. It’s soft, slightly runny and full of flavour. The rice holds up nicely even after reaching home, soaking in all that goodness without turning soggy.

Only available via GrabFood or self-collect, so it’s a bit of a hidden gem. It travels well and it’s one of those fuss-free meals I keep coming back to when I want something bold, comforting and familiar 》$9.52 (Pickup Order)

Made a trip to Bedok for my Thai fix. Went with the chicken tom yum noodle this time and it’s way better than the seafood version since the prawns aren’t always fresh. Broth still packs that sour-spicy punch though.

Also got the deep-fried pork with garlic — crispy, garlicky and perfect with the sweet chili dip. The Thai vermicelli salad was fresh and punchy with a good mix of seafood and heat. Still one of my go-to spots for no-frills, flavour-packed Thai food.

Tried the mixed bag of 11 fried snack and it’s a pretty decent way to sample a bit of everything. The banana fritters were my favourite, sweet and crispy without being too oily. Yam chips were light and easy to snack on. Sweet potato fritters were decent and the balls had a nice chew, though the whole thing got a little heavy after a while. Not something I’d crave often but a good option when I’m in the mood for something warm and crunchy 》$7

Crispy chicken glazed in a sweet and savoury honey sauce. The chicken is tender and not greasy. The honey makes it a little sticky but the sweetness makes this dish pop 》$6

Portion’s hefty but it’s a mixed experience. Noodles came with that distinct alkaline bite and the fried wanton skin’s a touch bitter. The char siew’s a bit too fatty for my taste and I missed that satisfying snap from a crispy fish sausage — this soft fish sausage didn’t cut it but the soup wanton were the saving grace. Plump, juicy and packed with meat. Bonus points for the flavourful soup with radish and stuffed wanton made it a comforting add-on.

The noodles had a great chew, soaking up the tamarind sauce beautifully. The pork slices were delicately soft, pairing well with the crunch from crushed peanuts and bean sprouts.

A squeeze of lime brightened up the flavours, making for a simple and enjoyable meal 》$6.50

The broth is mildly tangy with a gentle heat, delivering creaminess but missing the bold depth of a standout tom yum. Comes with standard noodles, prawns, squid, crab stick and egg.

Overall, it’s alright for a quick fix. Nothing extraordinary but it gets the job done 》$7

Thin rice noodles stir-fried with egg, chicken and beansprouts for some crunch. Like most pad thai, the noodles were slightly sweet but the lime kept the flavours well balanced. Sweet, savoury and nutty all in one bite 》$6.80

Minced pork fried with plenty of chilli and basil, topped with a standard fried egg and rice. The basil pork was not too spicy and I love that runny egg yolk 》$8

Flavours are bold but the saltiness stands out a little too much. The noodles soak up the mildly spicy sauce, with squid and prawns bringing a seafood punch. Fresh veggies and a squeeze of lime help balance things but the saltiness might be a bit much for some 》$11.90

I'm in a relationship with food. Why can't we just declare our never ending love and vows towards some food item? I'm sure that would not result in divorces.
