Exploring @HawkerStreetsg at Bukit Panjang Plaza!
First up, Pangās signature Hakka yong tau foo soup. Assorted YTF items stuffed with minced pork + fish paste fillings, seasoned with sole fish powder and chunks of radish cooked till tender but not falling apart. The soup was light yet so addictive ā canāt stop slurping! š
Next, we indulged in Flourful Delightās Xiao Long Bao. Those thin, delicate wrappers that hold a burst of rich, savory broth and fillingsā¦ā¦ pure joy in every bite!
As for Roast Paradise, we had a mixed experience. The char siew & roast pork were a bit of a letdown this time, with the char siew being rather dry and tough. Weāre hoping it was a one-off! But the roast pork did redeem itself with crispy skin, tender meat and a nice layer of fat.

Plum Soda ($5)
Strong, fizzy, and citrusy!
Ice Lemongrass ($3)
Smooth, lightly sweet and pleasant!
A bit underwhelming, not shiok enough! The portion was okay, but the cockles were too small to truly enjoy. The unique Thai flavours were there, and the spiciness was mild. Mehhhā¦
Glass noodles soaked up the savoury soy and oyster sauce beautifully, making them super flavourful. Ginger and coriander roots add that authentic Thai touch. Served with sliced button mushrooms and five easy-to-deshell prawns. No need for rice as this dish alone will fill you up.
Pretty well executed! A big, fresh fish, sliced and neatly laid on a fish-shaped pan with heat below. Itās then poured over with a savoury stock, further cooking the fish and infusing it with flavour. The addition of manao gives it a refreshing citrusy tang. The soup was rich, sweet, spicy, sourish, and umami, hitting that perfect Thai balance of flavours. The fish was soft, delicate, and fresh, we really enjoyed this one.
Theirs was more shiok than elsewhere probably because the individual parts were good.
Not the best looking dish, but definitely the best tasting one! A classic must-order when in Thailand. Briny, chewy, chunky crab meat infused with aromatic, smooth, custardy eggy curry sauce. The more you eat, the more addictive it gets. The spiciness is toned down to suit local taste buds. A must-get, as this dish is quite rare in Singapore. Probably the only place that serves it, let me know if you find others!
Pretty good Thai cuisine, with flavours just like what you would get in Thailand. š

Visited One Prawn & Co to have a dinner date with my wife. We tried the [Chef Selection] whereby the chef decides the dishes for us.
The dishes were tastefully presented beyond my expectations and more importantly the dishes are aligned to my taste. Out of the 8 dishes that were served, my top 3 favourites are Sourdough with Seaweed Butter, Octopus with Assam sauce and Black Cod & Seaweed Porridge.
The sourdough was grilled in the wood-fire oven and gave a smoky taste which pairs well with the smooth seaweed butter & honey.
I am surprised by the bold matching of the Octopus and the Assam sauce. This dish is mildly spicy but the taste is simply delicious and satisfying.
The black cod is perfectly grilled with the charred skin texture and the meat is buttery, soft and sweet. It goes well with the porridge.
