This was wow. So worth the price. Not the biggest but the texture was flawless, plus cream, syrup, pistachio and coconut ice cream. Anyway any bigger and it'd be jelak.
We're back for this excellent restaurant. I ordered what caught my eye last time. The gravy made with masala, ginger and cream was so tasty. The meat this time had more lean cuts, but overall okay lah. Supposed to be three pita but they knew most customers can't finish - turned out true for me!
Quite blown away. Big portions and fairly priced. Fried cauliflower is often hit and miss for me but here it's yummy.
Quite blown away. Big portions and fairly priced. So much mutton, which was tender and flavourful. Unlike biryani, Omani rice apparently is cooked in a spiced broth. Based on the wide range my party ordered, different meats also get different sauces.
For mains, I had Afghan Gravy with Butter Rice ($23.90) which comes with chicken in a creamy, aromatic and rich gravy infused with ginger, masala and fresh cream. The chicken is very tender and the butter rice is fragrant. The chilli that is served on the side helps to balance out the creaminess.
Cauliflower Popcorn ($9.90) consists of deep fried cauliflower drizzled in yoghurt sauce with a hint of garlic and mint. The batter is not too thick or oily, and the yoghurt sauce is pretty refreshing.
