I finally got the chance to eat at this atas place. Tea jelly, especially in a Chinese restaurant, is most times impressive. I liked this.
I finally got the chance to eat at this atas place. The friend recommended this dessert despite the flat name. Now you see how gimmicky it is hahaha. Quite nice too!
I finally got the chance to eat at this atas place. Scallop Shumai, Spare Ribs, Barbequed Pork Buns, Har Gau. All were decent, but shout-out for the siew mai, which was atas af.
I finally got the chance to eat at this atas place. This dish hor, the name and the price how to not say good?
I finally got the chance to eat at this atas place. Very exquisite version of a usually everyman dish. I only realised later there's crabmeat. Apart from taste, it definitely added texture to the tofu.
A delicious and classic dish! I had our dinner at Zhup Zhup and we ordered the claypot seafood paofan and one prawn & co dry noodles.
The paofan is so savory with a rich and umami flavors from the prawns and lala stock. The piping paofan taste so nice with the egg floss. The prawns and lala are so fresh. The paofan broth is so flavorful with a depth of flavors from the claypot. You can add some cut š¶ļø for an extra kick !
If you are looking for a wholesome and filing meal for any time of the day, you really have to give this paofan a try.
Finally got to visit Hopscotch! Came on a Sunday evening and it wasnāt too crowded.
Quality of food was great with good portion sizes. Chili lobster pasta was al dente and the sauce was absolutely delicious. Tried the Oriental Duck Pizza and Buah Keluak Infused Beef Stew as well. Their local-inspired fusion dishes definitely nailed the traditional flavors while offering a fresh take. Highly recommend!
The level of creativity, presentation and variety of cocktails is just mind-blowing. Ordered Wish Upon A Lantern and White Sands. Got to write wishes on the lantern paper, and staff came to torch it after. Exquisitely made and such a fun idea. White Sands came with refreshing lychee bubbles and was more of a dessert, than the traditional drink. Loveeed them both. Will definitely be back to try their other signature cocktails!
Was blown away by the quality of the food! The Prawn Toast & Aioli and Beef Bulgogi & Bafun Uni bites were tasty and a great start. Ribeye (200g) was also well executed.
But the star of the day was definitely the Kingfish Head in Deonjang and Ssam. The fish head was hugeee and definitely great for sharing between 3-5 pax. Fish was fresh, soft and moist. Sauce was good and overall a very fun dish. We got to make our own wraps with the lettuces!
We got seats at the counter and it was really nice to see the chefs up close. Service was very friendly too. Will definitely bring more friends along the next time!
This Japanese eatery needs no introduction and our go-to spot for an affordable yet satisfying meal in town. šÆ The grilled fish sets are simply unbeatable ā served with a bowl of rice, salad, miso soup, pickles, seasoned seaweed, and hot green tea. š
The star of the show? That grilled fish! Each bite is packed with succulent, meaty flakes and that rich, buttery flavour perfectly balanced with a sweet-salty miso glaze. š
