Revisited after two years, and while still enjoyable, it didn’t quite hit the same highs. The Lala Noodles remain comforting, with a fragrant broth of ginger and yellow rice wine, but the depth of seafood umami was noticeably lighter. The lala clams were fresh but not as plump, making the overall experience feel less indulgent than before.

Ordered some dim sum as sides, but they were pretty standard and nothing wow-worthy. The braised chicken feet, siew mai, and steamed pork ribs were decent enough, but lacked the standout factor to make them a must-order.

One of the best foods we ate in KL. The flavour of clams combined with rice wine was through the roof. For some reason, that made something as simple as beehoon so delicious.

As a seafood lover, I was absolutely thrilled with the generous portion of fresh lala in this dish. Definitely worth the bib gourmand status that it has earned. The yellow wine was strong, giving the dish a boozy, sweet taste. The ginger and spring onion added an extra layer of sharp spicy and savouriness to the dish. The silky bee hoon noodles are like a soft bed for the lala to lie on.
What's more is that you can takeaway their broth as they help you vaccum seal it for long journey.
