Had the ginseng black chicken soup with yam rice, along with crispy prawn roll and jade tofu for sides. The soup was rich and comforting, with a great balance of herbal flavor—not too strong, but still distinct. Generous portions of tender chicken made it even better. The yam rice was fragrant and paired beautifully with the soup.
The crispy prawn roll was my favorite—perfectly crunchy with a delicious mix of prawns and water chestnuts inside. The jade tofu had a satisfying crispy texture on the outside while staying soft inside.
Overall, a fantastic meal with great flavors. Definitely a spot worth revisiting!
Tan Ser Seng Herbs Restaurant really serves very delicious and nourishing soups. They are very generous with the ingredients.
We ordered cordyceps ginseng chicken soup, their signature Jade tofu, my favorite yam rice and handmade fresh prawn rolls. The soup tasted very fulfilling and the ingredients are so generous. My recommendation is the handmade fresh prawn rolls, the meat is sweet and delicious and alot of water chestnuts. It goes very well with the sweet sauce and sesame. The best thing is they have ice cream for dessert absolutely free !
I had the ginseng black chicken soup with yam rice. The broth is rich and chicken is tender. With aromatic ginseng taste, definitely worth a try. Most importantly the service staff are all very polite and nice. Will come again to try their other soups.
very nourishing and gao soups, can tell it was made w effort and not MSG water. ordered both chicken soups and they were great , will be back to try the turtle soup. sides were also very delicious, jade tofu and prawn rolls were crispy and hot. would highly recommend this spot!
Had a lovely dinner here which included their signature turtle soup and white chicken herbal soup. The herbal flavours were not too strong, which provided a better balance.
The claypot turtle soup was a standout dish, featuring a rich, herbal broth packed with deep umami flavors. The combination of goji berries, red dates, and fresh coriander added a slight sweetness that balanced the earthiness of the turtle meat. The meat itself was tender and gelatinous, soaking up the herbal essence beautifully. It’s a dish that truly warms the soul and feels like a health tonic in every spoonful.
