I'm heartbroken, what happened to them? I once rated them the best China halal la mian here. On this visit it's a catastrophe. The broth was bland and the beef was tough. Such an uninspired bowl.

A longtime chain I hadn't tried. It's okay lah. Nothing special but hit the spots. For the price point it's fair.

Lol the so-called mala comes in the form of powder. DIY lor. But the chicken was done well and the rice umami.

Maybe one of the aristocrats of this dish? Very good and super popular. And mine's not even mutton! It was sold out.

Not bad. Such fish is always nice, just that it's quite thin for some reason. Fully cooked eggs suck. Cheap place too.

Surprise find. This is upsized and it's generous. Also cheap. Only flaw was it's rather oily.

Technically those are crawfish. But wow the crawfish and garlic were endless. A treat but slightly overpowering.

Their signature. Most unique is they deep-fry the meat before drenching in sauce. Decent.

Popular joint. This dish is normally mainly chye poh and greens, but the one here has a bit more ingredients. A bit bland.

Mediocre. I shouldn't have trusted them.
