Had a splendid dinner here last Wednesday with my friend ! The food was served promptly and they were all really delicious (: we got the sweet and sour pork, shrimp paste fried wings, and a brinjal dish cooked with minced meat & fish served with rice + Taiwan porridge, definitely recommend trying these ! would also come back for more in the future !
Strong brew coffee which is not bitter or acidic & not overly milky..
Panna cotta is firm, smooth & rich with milk taste; not overly sweet; topped with fresh berries..
Smooth texture with natural sweetness; love that it came without cream..
Al-dente pasta tossed with crab meat & chilli; taste peppery & tad salty; topped with pine nuts & crispy garlic
Sourdough pizza is soft inside & crispy at the edges; topped with a variety of crunchy wild mushrooms, garlic, cordyceps & truffle cream cheese; love how well each ingredients complement one another especially the truffle rich cream cheese which is creamy yet not surfeiting; worth a try..
Price is reasonable and food is tasty
Bustling on a Saturday lunchtime period, but the place quickly empties out at a certain time (I'm guessing it's when the kids' afternoon enrichment classes start). They do a variety of local SG favourites - we tried the curry chicken cutlet rice, fried beehoon, prawn mee, and prawn mee sua. Prawn mee broth was delicious, with tons of ingredients within, although i preferred the beehoon instead of the mee sua. The 2 bowls of prawn mee plus a hot milo and teh c ice only came up to $18.40. Pretty worth it. Ambience was also clean and bright, perfect for weekend chat sessions.
This coffee shop located is not so obvious from the outside and you need to find your way to get here, if you never been here before.
But on the weekend, you still see this place still occupied by many diners. Most of the stalls open and I’m here particularly to try this stall.
Opened by ex–MasterChef Singapore finalist Aaron Wong. Go for their signature dry wanton mee and you would love the texture of their pork belly char siew. So tender and lean, I ordered extra portion to savour it.
The wontons are handmade and filled with pork meat inside also.
The front door is access by the bigger road
Pastries are sold from 830am-230pm only, not available for sale for dinner
It was generous amount of Uncle Penyet fish fillet. It’s pretty good even for group order for seminars and office functions.
Serving well before August 2014 and named after 'Nusantara (Outer Islands)', this stall attracts fast-moving queues at peak meal times.
.
Homely comfort dish, the aromatic broth is rich with lemongrass, galangal, ginger, turmeric, and coconut milk, creamy and velvety with savoury sweet earthy spice flavour.
.
The stewed vegetables (cabbage, string beans, jicama turnip) are fall-apart soft with vegetal sweet spice flavour, complementing the dense chewy compressed rice cakes with grainy sweet notes.
.
The spongy tofu bean curd absorbs the flavour profile of the broth, while heaps of serunding / fried coconut shreds lend an earthy nutty sweet spicy kick.
