Came back for this and still loving how clean the soup tastes. The fish slices was fresh and tender that held up well in the soup. Clear broth had that light natural sweetness, while the milky one was richer but still easy to drink. Just avoid peak lunch unless you enjoy queuing with the whole neighbourhood. Would come back for the milky version on a rainy day 》$6 Each

Operating sometime since 2014, this popular dessert stall is known for their generous portions and affordable prices.

Over a mound of soft shaved ice and wobbly aiyu jelly, is drizzled a simple syrup and lime juice. On top is stacked juicy fruit cocktail (peach, pear, green grapes, cherry, longan), and springy rainbow tadpole jelly. The ice gradually melts and combines with the syrup.

The result is a burst of fruity zesty sour sweet floral flavour, cooling and refreshing.

There's a tempura course which I don't eat, followed by a rice course which I didn't take pics of, and finally 2 desserts which I don't eat as well. Therefore the last pic is Okayama shine Muscat, and this ridiculously sweet persimmon which was superb

Ground sesame, carrot tops, and mushrooms. Carrot top isn't super tender, but chef made it work into a mild umami coherent salad

Yam was mild but overall it worked w the strongly seasoned herring

Delightful, the thinly sliced raw matsutake worked w the dashi and white amadai(tilefish) for a harmonious and satisfying simple soup

Huge scallops and hokkigai, fresh

Sekogani was pleasant, fried Gingko was delicious, correct texture.
