This was a delightful dive into classic Hainanese Zi Char. A treasure trove of comfort food, the Hainanese Pork Chop was the standout for me, succulent, with a beautifully crisp exterior and a signature tomato-based sauce that was tangy, rich, and utterly moreish. It perfectly showcased the unique heritage of Hainanese Western dishes. I paired it with the Premium Chicken Collagen Broth with Fish Maw, a deeply comforting, silky soup that felt nourishing with every spoonful. Washed down with a refreshing Iced Teh C, it was a symphony of familiar yet expertly executed flavours.

A must-visit for anyone seeking authentic, heartwarming Hainanese cuisine! Will be back!

Had one of the best collagen chicken soup in a long time here. So delicious!

The chicken rice here hits the spot with fragrant rice, succulent meat, and a big portion. The zi char items were a great bonus too!

📍Haru-Haru Mentaiko (Bras Basah)
- Mentai Pork Katsu Don 明太子醬炸豬排飯🍱
- Ebi Fry 日式炸蝦🍤

Tonkatsu was not bad, crispy and pretty thick cut, the mentaiko sauce complement the katsu well. A little pity that the rice was a tad too mushy to my likings.

The fried prawns were not bad too, crispy and fluffy.

Overall not bad, worth a try if nearby the vicinity, moreover, they accept CDC vouchers!

Damage: $9.90 for tonkatsu don

i love chicken rice and today i tried out a new place. safe to say that i will definitely return to this place. chicken rice portion was big and chicken is so tasty. we also ordered some other zichar dishes and hainanese pork chop and all were good.

We tried the chicken rice which was flavourful and tender. We also ordered claypot eggplant with salted fish, dried shrimps and minced meat and chicken fish maw collagen soup. The eggplant was tasteful and soup was comforting with no msg taste. Portion is enough for two.

This cup really wakes you up. Smooth tea meets latte in perfect balance with neither overwhelming the other. No astringency, just silky, milky layers with a pleasantly bitter edge. Brewed aromatically, the natural sweetness shines through even without added sugar. Comforting yet energizing. Medium‑dark roasted coffee beans paired with Yingde black tea bring floral and honey notes, weaving in fruity, cocoa and mellow aromas. Blended with fresh milk, the texture was rich, multi‑layered and deeply satisfying.

Butter dough made with sponge dough method, generously filled with matcha cream, dusted with matcha powder, and finished with coconut flakes. Soft texture, strong matcha character. The first bite hit me with that unmistakable matcha punch. Even nibbling the outer layer, the flavour was bold yet balanced. The bread itself was soft, QQ, with gentle sweetness that paired beautifully with the creamy filling. The matcha ganache was rich and smooth, intense without being overly bitter or powdery, while the coconut flakes added a subtle lift. Bitter and sweet found harmony here. Best enjoyed fresh on the same day.

Really impressed with this Hainanese chicken rice. Very authentic and tender, and love the vibes here as well. Try their coffee too!

Steamed and roasted chicken were tender, hainanese pork chop was crispy with a sweet sour dip. They serve one of the best chap chye.
