Tried the Ultimate Warrior Bowl and it truly lives up to its name as the portion was huge! As a salmon lover, I had to try this as they are known for its salmon don(s). The salmon was nicely torched and topped off with mentaiko which is always a good mix as it elevates the salmonβs taste. The japanese rice was also very nicely prepared as it has that subtle sweetness in it which really compliments the salmon! Would recommend if youβre looking for a quick and easy japanese don lunch!
Recently came here to try out the food and it was a decent hearty meal! π©· Love that there was an option for customisation at affordable prices! πππ»
had this at the suntec outlet. ordered the byob and maki to share. the bowl came with corn and kimchi! liked the texture of the soba and the ingredients goes well together. they were quite generous with the portion as well, would definitely recommend pairing the soba with sous vide egg: beef was tender as well!
My friend and I ordered the (1) build a don bowl: mentai salmon & beef slices, (2) build a don bowl: chirashi mala salmon & oden egg & (3) maki
I love the colour palette of my food, there's a great balance between the meat, veg & rice. Everything was seasoned generously and definitely left our tummies happily filled! The salmon was cooked well & the beef slices were super tender, definitely recommend if you are heading over to suntec for lunch or dinner!
I dropped by Salmon Warrior recently and tried their highly recommended Surf & Turf Don along with a side of tamago sushi in three flavours β and I must say, it was a satisfying experience both visually and taste-wise.
The Surf & Turf Don came generously portioned with flame-torched salmon slices and tender grilled beef, laid over a bed of fluffy Japanese rice. The salmon had that perfect smoky char while still maintaining a buttery texture. The beef was juicy and flavourful, with just the right amount of seasoning β no sauce overload, just clean, savoury notes that complemented the salmon well. Paired with crunchy broccoli, sweet corn, and juicy cherry tomatoes, the bowl struck a good balance between protein, carbs, and veg.
As for the tamago sushi platter, it was surprisingly impressive for whatβs often seen as a simple side. Each tamago slice was thick, sweet, and custardy, with a twist from the toppings:
The Garlic Butter Tamago was rich and fragrant, perfect for garlic lovers.
The Mentai Tamago was creamy and indulgent, with that umami hit we all crave.
And the Mala Mentai Tamago? A spicy surprise! It brought a mild, tingly heat without overpowering the eggβs natural sweetness β definitely a standout.
Overall, Salmon Warrior nails it in terms of value, presentation, and taste. If you're craving a hearty, protein-loaded donburi with a side of creative sushi bites, this spotβs worth checking out.

Went to Salmon Warrior and got the Salmon Mentai Don and Ultimate Salmon Maki. Both dishes were generous and filling. The Salmon Mentai Don had a good balance of flavours, with the mentai being tasty but not too overwhelming. The veggies on the side added a nice crunch and made it feel a bit healthier. As for the Ultimate Salmon Maki, it's packed with flavour and a great choice if you're looking for an extra side to share and complement your main dish. Plus, the staff were nice and friendly, which always makes for a better experience.
Had the warrior beef don and the ulitmate salmon maki, portions were generous. The beef was well cooked and the flavours of the don was balanced with the addition of the veggies. The makis were flavourful but not too overpowering. Staffs were super friendly too
The guy staff was very polite and patient! :)
Food wise, the kale base was way too raw but the helping is very generous. The chicken and sweet potato was too dry. The tempeh chips has turned soft - no longer crispy. The saving grace is the wild rice that is moist. Definitely had better bowls than this with a good mix for the palate! Hope they can improve. There was a queue though - so maybe it's just me. :)
So glad we chose this place for dinner! The makis were warm but surprisingly good and comforting! The beef was tender and everything had a good balance of flavours.
Teriyaki Grilled Salmon was a pleasant surprise β perfectly grilled with a slightly crispy skin and soft, flaky meat inside. The teriyaki sauce added just the right amount of sweetness without overpowering the natural flavour of the salmon.
Chicken Tori Yaki was also well done. The skewers were juicy, nicely charred, and full of flavour. Great texture and a smoky finish made it really enjoyable.
The Teriyaki Chick Don was delicious and value for money. The chicken was tender and well-coated in a sweet and savoury sauce, served over sushi rice.
The Chicken Tori Yaki skewers were juicy with a nice grilled flavour. Lightly charred and well-seasoned.
The Unagi Maki was packed with flavour from the Garlic Mayo, the portion was very large as well and was very filling. Also ordered the Warrior Beef Don - the beef was well cooked and tender! The greens added a satisfying crunch and more texture to the bowl! The Keto Don came with thick cuts of salmon paired with shirataki noodles, making it an interesting low carb option! Also had the Chuka Idako (baby octopus) which was savoury and tangy.
