($6.50) i ordered their best selling flavour before I left CBD this earlier month. so i almost forgot how the taste is liao :") but literally almost 1 month I never thought going back bc of they opening office hours. black sesame v strong taste, don't really covered much with matcha latte and remind me of h**** they also making same matcha variation before everyone have done.

Had such a great dinner at Shukuu Izakaya! The Maguro Yukke was super addictive, the Rosti Mentai was so fun to slurp like noodles, and the Ika Kuro-age was unbelievably tender. Even the Tori Cabbage Tsuyu won me over (and I don’t even like vegetables usually). Will 100% be back!

Main: Garnet Wagyu Striploin with Truffle Fries
The best steak I've had in a very long time, it was tender, juicy, rich, and still makes my mouth water thinking back on it. Truffle Fries were also a perfect complement to the steak.
Dessert: Tiramisu with brandied cream
Delightful balance between the cream and coffee and brandy
10/10 will be back.

Had such a satisfying meal at Shukuu Izakaya and Bar! The hotate was incredibly fresh, and the combo of mentaiko + fish roe gave it a rich and savoury flavour.

The hot soba was warm and comforting, while the spicy salmon don had just the right kick without being overwhelming (great even if you can’t take much spice!).

Great quality for the price, lovely ambience, and attentive staff. Don’t skip their sake pairing too! It really elevates the meal.

shukuu has a nice ambience, be it for a date night or gathering with friends. personally enjoyed the scallop mentai and chirashi inari the most, it was flavourful and fresh. the hot soba was light on the palette and comforting to have. staffs were nice and attentive too, helped to adjust the aircon temperature.

An unforgettable dinner that effortlessly blended creativity, precision, and pure pleasure. Every course felt thoughtful yet never forced. Playful textures, bold but balanced flavors, and a quiet confidence that let premium ingredients shine without ever shouting. From the opening bite to the last brandy-soaked spoonful of tiramisu, the pacing was flawless, the seasoning spot-on, and the joy of eating was palpable.

The meal was outstanding from start to finish. The crispy fried oysters with apple were a brilliant sweet-briny revelation, followed by the clever cauliflower and cheesecake-like flavour that somehow tasted both vegetal and luxuriously creamy with a bright lemon lift.
The perfectly cooked steak and pork stole the show with their melt-in-your-mouth richness, the latter elevated by charred lemon and a subtle boozy sauce, and the brandy-laced tiramisu ended everything on a refreshing yet utterly indulgent high.

Me and my sister came on a Saturday night 08/11/2025 and received swift service in between each drinks/food that we ordered and it all tasted great!

We got the Maguro Yukke, Tori Cabbage Tsuyu stew, Tempura Moriawase, Ika Kuro-Age, Rosti Mentai.

Definitely recommend the Ika Kuro-Age and getting the Sawanosuru Age Umeshu for a drink. The server is kind to let me have it on the rocks with a side of soda water so that I can experience two ways of enjoying the Umeshu.

Both of us loved the Tori Cabbage Tsuyu stew as well and it was a refreshing to drink the broth after every bite of something fried.

Had an amazing dinner here with my partner! The steak with chimichurri was cooked to perfection, tender and full of flavor, with the fresh herbs adding a beautiful brightness. The roasted mushrooms were rich and earthy, complementing the steak perfectly. To finish, the tiramisu was light, creamy, and indulgent, a flawless ending to an excellent meal.
