2 x Milk Tea with pearls ($4.50 each)

Food was not too bad, but small servings. Fairly accessible location, entrance located on the outside of the mall, right opposite Lorong Chuan MRT.

First time see this. The crust is supposed to be like croissant. I tried for fun since I much prefer the ordinary egg tart's pastry.

($4.20) I decided to try more ex on nine fresh so 3 in 1 for beancurd, grass jelly and ai-yu jelly. topping was black pearl, mini taro q and taro balls. at usual, beancurd will be filled water after a while. I felt that it's quite sinful to eat both mini taro q and taro balls at same time lol.

Above average. I'm not particularly a fan of kampong chicken so I can't judge.

The First Street fish soup brand ventures into Hokkien mee territory. It's a good plate albeit not memorable.

Went for the trio platter with roast duck, roast pork and char siew. The duck was the highlight — moist, flavourful and topped with a silky layer of skin, just enough fat to make it indulgent without being greasy.

The roast pork impressed with its crunchy crackling skin and well-seasoned meat. It’s nicely balanced and not too salty. The char siew was tender but lacked that signature caramelised glaze and sweetness.

Served with fluffy rice drenched in savoury sauce and a comforting bowl of soup on the side, it’s a hearty, no-fuss roast meat fix that delivers where it counts.

Trio Platter for 2 Pax 》$17.40

Crispy chicken with a nice kick of spice. Not too intense but full of flavour. The Szechuan peppercorns add a bit of numbing heat without being overpowering 》$16

The enoki mushrooms were grilled to a perfect crisp at the edges, while staying juicy inside. Loved the subtle smoky aroma and savoury seasoning that was packed with flavour 》$6

Thinly sliced and cooked just right, this dish really lets the natural bitterness shine. The salted egg yolk adds a rich, savoury touch without covering up the flavour. You’ll love this if you prefer your bitter gourd to stay properly bitter! 》$8

Haven't been to Mellben in a really long time and I miss having Mellben’s crab done in its signature way. The milky broth is thick, rich, creamy and beamed with sweetness from the crab. The crab was fresh and succulently sweet with chunks of meat coming off cleanly.

Wrapped in crispy beancurd skin with generous fillings of prawns, pork and together with a crunch of chestnuts 》$10 (Small)
